Do’s and Don’ts of FOB Concerts
Here are some tips on what to DO and what NOT to do at a Fall Out Boy show.
DON’T wear antlers. Just no. Don’t even think about it. Not even for a second.
Unless you have a deep desire to get beat up.
DO wear sneakers and comfortable clothes. Otherwise you’ll just end up mad at yourself.
DON’T stand in the center/middle of the pitt if you don’t want to get pushed/suffocated.
You can stand towards the side and see the band just fine.
DO pick someone up if they fall in a mosh pitt.
DON’T bring a lot of stuff with you. Only bring what is necessary. You’ll enjoy the concert a lot less
if you are worrying about all the things in your purse or whatnot. It’s best to just keep your cell phone
and money in you front pockets.
DON’T scream things like “PETE I LOVE YOUUUU” or “PATRICK! MARRY ME” or “JOE! YOU ARE SO HOT”
or “ANDY OMGZZZZ YOU’RE DA BEST” or other annoying phrases. This will not win you a date with the band.
It will just win you dirty looks from all of the people around you.
DON’T wear shirts with such sayings as above. That will also win you dirty looks. Also do not make a shirt
with the leaked P. Wentz sidekick pictures. Specially if you go to a Philly date. I’ll give you dirty looks and my friend
will yell at you. No lie. It’s happened before.
DO check the venue site or call the venue to find out about policies with cameras and other such things.
You don’t want anythinng taken away from you.
DON’T piss Charlie (Fall Out Boy’s security dude) off. If you do, you’re pretty much a dead FOB fan walking.
DO check out the other bands FOB will be touring with before the show. That is if you don’t already know
what thier music is like. It’s good to know some of the other bands’ songs. You’ll enjoy the show better if
the songs are familiar.
DON’T wear clothes you’ll get easily overheated in. It gets hot inside a venue.
DO get to the show early if you want to get up front. If you get there late and just push in front of people who
waited forever to get close to the stage, you’ll just piss people off.
