The Site

This site was founded in August of 2005. I am a site making addict and I wanted to make another fan site. I decided on Fall Out Boy since they are one of my favorite bands and didn’t have many fan sites. My goal for the site was for it to become a good resource for everything Fall Out Boy fans need and a place to bring fans together. I never expected the site to get as popular as it did. I’m glad it did though because I love helping people. Don’t worry about this site ever closing, I don’t have the heart to do it. This site is my baby. *cough* I hope for this site to just continue to grow and grow. I’m always updating it, fixing it, making it better. I like to make this site my personal best, not better than other sites. I don’t like competition between fan sites. It defeats the purpose. I won’t ever claim to be the “biggest” or “most visited” site. The sole purpose of this site, is to provide fans with news and resources.

Hosting and Domain

It was originally hosted on e-fans.com but it didn’t have the right resources for the site. I then moved it to fan-sites.org. After the site was up for awhile I got a one week notice to move my site because it had been using too many resources for a few months supposedly. I was pretty mad that I was told this so late on that I couldn’t do anything to fix the problem. I then applied for hosting on Celeb Fanatics. Dustin transferred my site and everything. Best host I’ve ever had. I’m still hosted with Celeb Fanatics.

The domain was registered on domains.yahoo.com on August 15, 2005.
