The Site

This site was founded in August of 2005. I love web design and wanted to create another fansite after a previous one “fell apart”. I decided that Fall Out Boy could use a fan site since they are one of my favorite bands and didn’t have many fansites at the time. I didn’t really have much of a goal for the site other than to provide fans with FOB updates and keep myself occupied. I never expected the site to get as popular as it did at one point. Don’t worry about this site ever closing, I don’t have the heart to do it. This site is my baby. *cough* I hope to keep this site going in one way or another. It may eventually stop being a typical fansite but I won’t let it completely die.

IceCreamHdAches and Drop-a-Heart

To clear up any confusion, IceCreamHdAches and Drop-a-Heart are two separate entities. I was no longer updating my gallery so gave it to them since they needed a gallery. I have updates from their site linked on here because they are a good fan site with information useful to Fall Out Boy fans. Neither of us have a say in each other’s sites. They are responsible for the content on their site and I am responsible for the content on mine. In terms of the gallery, they are in complete control of the photos on there. However, technical difficulties are in my hands. If you have anything to contribute to the gallery, contact them. If you notice any technical issues with the gallery, contact me. If you are confused about who to contact about something, email me and I’ll direct you to them if needed.

Hosting and Domain

It was originally hosted on e-fans.com but it didn’t have the right resources for the site. I then moved it to fan-sites.org. After the site was up for awhile I got a one week notice to move my site because it had been using too many resources for a few months supposedly. I was pretty mad that I was told this so late on that I couldn’t do anything to fix the problem. I then applied for hosting on Celeb Fanatics. Dustin transferred my site and everything. Best host I’ve ever had. I’m still hosted with Celeb Fanatics.
